Thanks. The MG gunner defaultly had the M60, which uses the same magazines as M240, so I just removed the weapon, added another magazine, so the it will be loaded and scripted a M240. Im not sure why your MG gunner carys PKM Magazines. Which ArmA 2 version do you have? I made the mission with ArmA 2 1.11 + Reinforcements 1.62.

lol the pilot ist sopose to run anywhere. I guess, that he does, becouse civilian AI is programmed to run away from OPFOR and a firefight. I had tested the mission sever times, but never experienced such behavoiur prom him. I will try to make him stay in the shead with some animation, or something. I wasnt working on this mission, as I was concentraiting on my oather one Autumn Leaves, but was thinking about polishing this one up with new experience. ;)

Yes, I know about arma2oa.rpt

you seem to have used "Pilot" for two different variables, both as object for the hostage as well as a boolean (in the trigger near the hostage and in the end trigger), that doesn't work obviously. BTW, a good way to do it is to name booleans as a question that can be answered by yes or no, so instead of "Village" and "Pilot", you would name the boolean variables "village_is_cleared" and "pilot_is_alive" or "pilot_is_dead". Helps to better understand the code, because if someone reads "pilot_is_dead=true", he knows that "true" does not mean he is alive or he is outside of some area or he is freed or whatever, and also it becomes obvious in the first place that "pilot_is_alive" is a boolean and not an object.

and no, the ACR->Men->Machinegunner does not have an M-60, but a UK-59 (which needs PKM mags). I do have ACR however, maybe that is the difference? In any case, just do a "removeAllWeapons this" on him and then give him what he needs, to be on the safe side.

Ahh I see. Ok. I will try that.

Yes thats the difference. I made the mission without ACR. I was thinking exactly the same with removing all his weapons.

Ive released version 1.3 of this mission.

Changelog:
-Improved scripts.
-fixed the problem with M240 magazines.
-the pilot now has to be freed by an action, instead of walking into a trigger.
-some other changes/improvements.
