DESCRIPTION

We welcome the STEYR F88a2

Australian Defense Force Uncut is an ongoing project aimed at re-creating as authentically as possible; uniforms, vehicles and weapons pertinent to the ADF. The mod will take advantage of iconic camouflage like DPCU, DPDU and the new AMP; whilst also creating fictional camouflage for A3's fictional setting. We want to make this mod user friendly as possible for mission editors and create units and vehicles that will be beneficial, such as the MHQ Black Covered Hunter; for missions like Domination.

We are directly supported by DAY0, an Australian gaming community that will be our home and host to our official ADF Uncut Arma 3 servers. With DAY0 we gain access to its many resources and to Spita who will create missions dedicated to the mod. We intend to use AiA with ADF Uncut so we can take full advantage of all camo sets over all environments!

The team: Tonnie (Model Designer), TheAussieButcher (Texturing) and Stabs (Texturing).

UPCOMING / FUTURE PLANS

In the works:

Over the next weeks to months expect to see all our soldiers equiped with authentic weaponry ranging from the F90/F88's to Minimi's/tanks/Euro Tiger Attack chopper.

ARMAHOLIC INSTALLATION GUIDE:

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@your_mod_folder_name

You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\

Place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3".

You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name

For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:
-mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5

Note:
You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.

And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!

When the above information still does not provide you with enough to learn how to install custom addons and mods you can always ask in our Guide On Installing Mods.

Is there an easy way to fix missions that used the old ADF mods that were replaced by this one?

Most the class names should be the same, otherwise I have compiled all the class names in a txt file inside the mod folder.

It should be as easy as replacing the class names.

Thanks for posting the release here!
News is up on the frontpage and you can find our mirror here:

Thanks for the link to the thumbs but we always host our own images ;-)
Also, is it possible that you tell me which pbo names need to be deleted exactly? I am not 100% sure which previous releases you refer to and which people should delete. I want to forward those pages to this new page.

Hey Foxhound,

If you have the @ADF_AMP or @DPCU mod folders, delete the entire folder systems.

Current folder structure and pbo's are:

@ADF >> addons >>

adf-amp.pbo
adf-amp.pbo.day0.bisign

adf-amp2.pbo
adf-amp2.pbo.day0.bisign

adf-dpcu.pbo
adf-dpcu.pbo.day0.bisign

adf-dpdu.pbo
adf-dpdu.pbo.day0.bisign

fhq_m4_a3.pbo
fhq_m4_a3.pbo.day0.bisign

Added 1 hour 49 minutes later:

A sneak peak on my OPFOR PVP units, The Tasmanian Rossarden Regulars WIP:

Thanks for the info mate, but I need to know the pbo names of the old addons this release replaces!
I am not sure which addons/releases you refer to when you write "@ADF_AMP or @DPCU".
I assume this current release contains updates of your previous releases, as such I want to remove those older versions but to be able to do that I need to know exactly which older releases that were.

So, please give me the old pbo names or the link to those downloadpages please. Than I can forward those links to our new downloadpage so everyone alwys downloads the latest version.

:-)

I've managed to get it all working bar my original custom FHQ_M4 loadouts. None of the weapons seem to be recognised, have you changed the FHQ weapon class names per chance? I can't think of what else it could be.

EDIT: Having used a debug script on the default m4 wielding units' gear I can see the class names differ from the FHQ_M4_A3 release. I used to be able to run his mod along side yours in order to use the FHQ_Accessories mod etc. But now both mods don't seem to want to work together for some reason :S.. Anyone else finding this?

I have uploaded the @ADF folder to the root directory of ARMA 3 on our server, also included the -mod=@ADF as requested. I also uploaded the mission that was the MPMission folder to the server MPMission folder, and when we went in to try out the mission, it would let us in it just stayed at the voting screen.

Can you help us with this.

I've had to change the class names of the M4's as per the mod creators request. I've put together some variations myself, perhaps I've missed something. If anyone else has had this issue please speak up.

I will be sending alwarren my source files so he can double check the classnames.

I apologise for the issues.

We're are currently trying to recreate this problem, but I have been made aware that you are currently in conversation on the BI Forums about this issue; has it been fixed?

If not please shoot through a pm.
