Just a heads up, update released. We wanted to get this one pushed out quickly so that people wouldn't mis interpret the "Out of fuel bug"

v1.1 -
- Engine startup now has sounds and UFD/WCA page feedback for state of components.
- APU and engines will burn fuel in complex startups.
- IHADSS must be turned on (IHADSS toggle action) after battery turned on.
- Added IHADSS toggle capability to click action on IHADSS storage box.
- UFD, MPDs, and IHADSS in off state until battery, APU, or engines are on.
- Added rotor RPM audio message when exceeding 110% and an altitude above 5m while ENG page active.
- Modified UFD messages to be uniform in color and size; removed some messages.
- Replaced main rotor sounds with Robert Hammer samples.
- Improved shadow LOD.
- M230 burst behavior changed - waiting 1 second or more in the middle of a burst resets burst limit.
- Fixed FCR page components errors with TSD.
- Fixed gunner unable to turn on FCR in single player.
- Fixed Pilot-CPG damage effects - now passed between crew members.
- Fixed click helper not appearing after resuming from a saved game.
- Fixed CPG TSD map not hiding.

Known issues -
- Player will report 'out of fuel' radio message with CEM on. Reason: to keep
player from being able to take off without going through startup procedure,
fuel is set to 0 until startup procedure has been followed. Cannot disable the
default radio 'out of fuel' message.
- IHADSS toggle sometimes takes several activations/presses to initialize.
- Betty audio messages will play when dead or out of aircraft.
- Audio issues with engine loop sound.

Two questions. Are you using ACE and are you using an OA beta patch?

That's probably why you're missing. Unfortuantely at this time the two hellfire scripts are butting heads so nobody wins.

Thanks for posting the update here and for taking the time to contact personally.
I was on holiday, hence the delay. And while on holiday my hand decided it was time for a longer holiday and figured the best way to do that to break a bone......
My hand will have a holiday several weeks making my left hand to overheat from additional work, so keeping Armaholic up to date will be an issue for some longer time. :-(

Anyway, here is our updated mirror:

Sorry to hear about your hand, I hope the healing process goes smooth and quickly :)

Also bump because yet another update (and yes there will be yet another one after this) This time with the correct link.

v1.2 -
- Changed weapon and ammo class inheritance.
- Modified missile guidance scripting.
- Fixed cockpit glass invulnerability.
- Fixed CPG-Pilot multiplayer issue with gun/pylons.
- Fixed shadow issues.
- Fixed skin selection areas.
- Fixed TADS stow for CPG.

Missile guidance error/bugs should be fixed when using OA betas, but this is not 100% confirmed yet. Recommended version remains 1.62.

Thanks yet again Foxhound, I have a funny feeling you're going to grow to hate us in the coming weeks or so with the repeating updates. I still need to fix the interior and exterior shadows and make a graphic update amongst who knows what else.

Hehe, don't worry about that. I need to often update pages with new versions and fixes and IMHO that is a very good thing. It shows how dedicated such an author (or group) is to make the work the best he/she/they can make it. Thats how it should be and I happily support that as much as I can.

So, keep them updates coming! *THUMBS UP*

I've registered here to thank you for the awesome helicopter. I've switched to Arma 3 already, but just when I've found your awesome Apache I had to reinstall Arma 2 again. It's a stunning work.

# NodUnit : I'm sure we will in future but for now we have big plans for take on helicopters while we refine Arma 2's version.

This is even better news. Do you have a plan to make Take On Helicopters version that uses RotorLib?

Thats all up to Franze, I'm hoping so and I imagine he'll want to take advantage of as many capabilities as possible.?
Also while not officially ported, you can drop the addon into your Arma 3 addons folder and it should run with all of the bells and whistles. Only thing is there is no dedicated map yet and the center of gravity is a bit off.
