First off, don't miss our awesome trailers!
CWR² - In my dreams again
CWR² - What do you dream of
CWR² - Delayed Deliverance

After more than 5 years of hard work, we are happy to release the CWR² final version for you to play with!

This Modification is the result of around 5 years of development and thousands of hours spent by countless people working on this Project in their spare free time. Without their dedication, and the generous model donations of many people this giant project could have never finished.

This is the end of CWR² Development. We may provide fixes for critical problems though.
I will continue the Mod as a private project. I may or may not share the changes and additions I make. And if I do, they are released as single pbo files and maybe even without documentation.

I'm sure that even without further development, our fans and followers will have many hours of fun and good memories with what we have achieved in the past years. Me and the team (or what's left of it) surely do.

Finally, I want to say thanks again to all the skilled people who contributed to our Mod, be it for years or just a one-time-fix. Without you, we would have never achieved the high quality Mod as it is now.
Thanks also to our many contributors who allowed us to use their work in CWR². Especially the guys from CSLA Mod, Robert Hammer and vilas.

Last but not least, thanks to Ivan Buchta who often helped us with his knowledge when we were stuck with some problem. Who provided us required models while his colleagues just ignored us. We owe you, too.

This release is dedicated to James 'Planck' McNicoll.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Important if you have the previously released Demo and/or standalone Islands:

As before, this is a complete new package! Please make sure you have removed all previously installed CWR² Mod folders!
All of the previously released files are no more required or horribly outdated.
Everything you need to play is in below Downloads.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please note: Both ArmA2 and Operation Arrowhead (Combined Operations) are required!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Install Instructions:

1) Remove all previous CWR² content (if present)
2) Remove all previous SP/MP Missions and the Demo campaign
3) Download and install CWR²
4) Download and install the optional content if wanted

See the included readme files in the CWR² Documentation folder for install instructions.
These files also contains important information for mission designers, e.g. class names.

There should be no questions when copying the files. If there are any, confirm and overwrite the old files.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Read this:
You are NOT allowed to port or use this Mod (or parts of it) to Arma 3!
We do not make exceptions, so don't even bother to ask!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All Cold War Rearmed² Downloads can be found here.

Don't miss our package of loadscreens and logos for your missions!

There is absolutely no need for being worried or concerned. The move away from the BI Forums is only for 'logistical' reasons. :-)

In Comrades in Arms we conduct debriefing on a dedicated thread on our forums and I thought that it will be great if we will embed images of the CWR2 maps we play on and draw lines of advancement and stuff like that. Is there any digital version of the CWR2 maps like this Cheranrus one?

Variable, I'm capable of rendering CWR2 maps, including objects, roads, town labels, elevation data. See, for example, the La Riviere part of Malden.

What exactly do you need?

good that we have Operation Flashpoint (i mean CWR), this is now only thing giving fun and after all those years, over decade i still love to roam on those islands, eh... OFP era won't be back (in modding) , good to have CWR :)
we should somehow more closer incorporate in 85 :)
anyway, I finnaly have free time and can be in this forum (for which i apologize that i didnt had time, but Foxhound is man whom we all owe a lot, he should get Nobel Prize for keeping Armaholic)
so here we are all old boys :)

Thanks William, but don't bother, I think I'll just go with Jakerod's suggested method.
