Make sure your gamefiles are up to date and no other files are in the game installation folder. does it give some clear description of what files are not allowed? Maybe you can have a look / port your logfiles here for some examination?

what 521kb file would that be? Mission files should be overwriten if it is different from the one on the server automatically, but just in case you can delete your mission cash and user settings folder (save at temp location and undo if no change is seen)

Armed Assault
The arma.rpt, arma.bidmp and arma.mdmp files are located in your -profiles root directory, or if used without this parameter then it can be found in these default locations:
WINDOWS XP:
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA
WINDOWS VISTA / 7:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\ArmA

Ow BIS forgot to mention that this folder is i think hidden by default so you should not see it, unless something changed to this method in Win8?
-you can enable hidden folders from the folder option in the configuration menu > folder > view: show hidden folders (enable this)
-maybe searching for the file arma.rpt can find the file on your system

Just paste the text from this file in a post in a spoiler to keep the forum readable

< inbetween the "]tex in the middle["

It said there is a file in your mpmissions folder that has an error. Most lightly this causes the game to crash. A logical sollution would be to remove all the missions from the arma\mpmissions folder.

THE MPMISSIONS FOLDER IS EMPTY ON BOTH ARMA2 AND OPA

Modedit:
Since -=XTRA=-Larsiano already replied to your questions earlier I doubt he suffers from blindness and as such it is completely unnecessary to write in all caps. In case you think others are blind.....trust me, 99,9% are not so you can just continue typing in normal sized letters.
