So I want to do some Cut scenes like in the Arma 3 First mission when player walks to a specific point with no ability to move just his head and black shades up and down


So I want to do that my Player on the begging goes from his house outside into the military vehicle sits there while driver stops to a specific place then gets out and then he can play and move around the cut scene is over

How to make my Player to not be able to move around just his head and to force his body to move to the vehicle and sit in there then get out without the Player be able to eject or do anything

Also how to make the black shades that appear up and down the screen.


So I want to make something like example 1 mission in Arma3 the first cutscene.


so anyone know how to do this ?

update: I did add the animation to player to walk and set a waypoint the player starts the walking animation but I can steal control him where he goes and I don't want that. And the animation doesn't last long as I want to..I want him to walk all the way i set the waypoint but the animation is not that long.

So I got everything working except my player is not in 1st person on cutscene. so how do I make him zo be in first person view ??

You can't force first person view. Even in the campaign cutscene, I was able to toggle third person. I dont know if you can edit a players gameplay options, but if you can, you might be able to over ride the dissable third person game option.

yes but how to put him when the cutscene starts he starts into 1st person view, on the cutscene he starts in 3rd person ? And also I cant toggle it during the cutscene

Oh, I did a quick search on the BIS scripting commands page ( https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Category:Scripting_Commands_Arma_3 ) and found these two commands that will probably be helpful.
