In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0nwWu9q7xI the people play a game mode that they call "Helicopter Hide and Seek." They attached the files to the description, but whenever I try to play it, it says "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.A3_Soft_F_Offroad, A3_Air_F_MH9" How can I fix this?

You will need the addons/mod or try and edit the mission.sqs file.

You need to find all references to the missing vehicles or objects and replace them with the names of vehicles you do have.

Back up the mission.sqs first as it's easily corrupted if you make a mistake.

Obviously, I need to change the references "A3_Soft_F_Offroad" and "A3_Air_F_MH9", but what do I change them to?

just place a couple of objects on a blank map one for the truck and one for the chopper/plane, you can see the type of vehicle when you select it in the editor menu header or save the mission and see what it's shows for each vehicle by looking in mission.sqs.

The actual object isn't really important at this stage it will just allow you to load the mission, once you can get it working in the editor you can then use the editor in the normal way to adjust it to what works best.

It depends, for the mission your trying to play, is it a load of files and scripts or is it a PBO file.

If it's a collection of files then it should be in there and end with .sqs if you can't see the file type then this will need enabling (show hidden file types) it's a setting in windows folders.

If it's PBO the you will need to unpack it using a program like Elitness (do search) then you will have the files which you can place in the editor.

Editor missions are usually found in documents\Arma3\missions
