I'm wondering if there's a way in the zeus editor to make hostile factions not immediately rip each others guts out.

I wanted to try to make something like a turn-based tactical game, but everytime I move enemy units within LOS they slaughter each other.

Is there a way to make it so they're not immediately hostile to each other, and also, is there a way to stop one unit from engaging against the other if they come under fire?

If not, would anyone please walk me through how to make it a reality? I found some files 'BIS_fnc_enemyDetected' and 'BIS_fnc_enemyTargets' and I'm pretty sure to do what I want these two files would need to be edited, but I can't figure out how to.

Any help would be much appreciated.

this setcaptive true;
in the execution box if you mean just stock zeus. otherwise if your not using a custom mission and dont have server admin permissions then you cant make them friendly. Since I assume you'll probably be doing some scripting with the mission then it is feasable.
{_x setcaptive true;} foreach [your-array-of-units-here-to-run-code-on];

change true to false to make the opposite effect.

You can simply group those hostile units with units from your own side. That will change them to your side.

There are a lot of very capable people on this forum, willing to spend some of their time to help you out. So if you have a problem, it surely isn't too much to ask that you atleast take the time to describe it properly. Thanks.
