hello everybody.

I need help on this mission creation.I am new at mission creation.watched many good tutorials and read many tutorials on google.
I made a base in the 3d editor and i cant make it work on multiplayer or singleplayer.it only works on 2d/3d editor.
its also works on dedicated server but i tried it once( i will try it later)
everytime I go to mp lauch and lauch the game. on the lobby there is no player slots,nothing.
on the 3d editor I made the base then finally i made a player unit an ai then saved it.
on the 2d editor I placed a unit and made it player then I placed 3 more playable units then saved it.

i dont really understand what is the problem with this.i search from google,tried many things,but cant make it work.

yeah. I will let you know. sadly,I still could not get it to work.i downloaded the mission file from that youtube video tutorial and it had the same problem, maybe to much objects? but that makes no sense at all.
i dont understand what is the problem.
lol, i made lot of work building that base *WALL* :-P

I know this is a late post, but I hope this helps someone.

First, save the 3d mission and name it to whatever_3d.
After, download this program it basically takes the mission.sqf and transfer it to a mission.sqm which is compatible with multiplayer or 2d.
After that is finished, make a new mission in the 2d editor with the same map in the 3d editor or any kind of map you would like instead.
Merge the 3d to the 2d Mission, if that make sense.

Btw, that technique is also amazing for Headless Client missions. Build everything in 3d editor, then make into server .sqf form to spawn everything in as you want. Then add AI into a separate mission file, and scripts that affect AI and count them, stuff that you need AI localization for, and make another .sqf file for that and run it with a headless client/server check. Works really well and a great way to set headless client localization for quickly made missions!
