Hello scripting community!

In attempts to find tutorials on how revive scripts work I can only find pre existing scripts so I try to take them apart and figure out how they work. I am still quite new to scripting but want to start working on a revive script even though they sound the hardest. Id like to try figure out as much as possible but the bit I am stuck on...

How do you dictate what happens after a players damage == 1 or they die because no matter what I try the player always re-spawns or comes back as a bird or ends the mission so I can't resurrect them.

Any links or guides would be much appreciated, thanks.

The simplest, i use it, is the:
respawnTemplates[] = {"Revive"}; in your description.ext
