In my init.sqf is it possible to direct the game to a different mission folder? or maybe even another drive... I'd like to make a D:\Scripts folder in my 250gb SSD, but I cant seem to make it read right. Tells me that my "D:\Scripts\Filename.sqf" doen't exist so Im guessing thats cuz there isnt a D: folder in the mission folder..... I have seen it done once before, in a mission I had downloaded. (Deleated since) I forgot to save it aside and cant seem to word what Im looking for exactly on google apparently... keeps coming up with how to edit you mission and that crap I know that already.... but my main hard drive is slow, it's large but its about 35% full and I have arma2 ,OA, and dayz all on the SSD but its reading mission files off my C... I don't like that.. that's why I put it in the SSD in the rist place.. so mission folder is in my documents\arma 2 (or arma2OA)\MPmission and because its doing so my FPS has dropped from around 30FPS to 16... (switched to newer PC) wtf doing exactly opposite of what I want... The SSD copies 8gb in 23 second or something, so its not a slow ssd its the Samsung 250gb with 545mbps read and write but yeah i need a directory to another drive location, the folder location and the rest figure out...changing mission directory?

The missions are read once, preprocessed and stored in the memory. You could have them on a floppy disc and your game on the SSD whouldn't have a problem.

Sometimes I like to think as I started the whole "earplugs" thing.

W0lle: The only advice I can give you is: Do not try to understand BI. You will not succeed and it only makes your brain go boom. I would even go so far and say that not even they understand their own actions :-D.
