I'm sorry I think I posted his before in the wrong place and I also moved house so I didn't get chance to re ask. I'm also sorry if this is in the wrong place again.

Im not an expert at Arma 2 but I'm not a noob I know how to make my own missions and certainly know the controls. But ever since I installed Arma 2 CO again I have never been able to drag injured soldiers who are on the floor in need of first aid. Using the mouse wheel I can get the option to heal them, but not to drag at all, not matter what I do. To after a while and not being able to figure it out I decided to try and see if I could drag in basic training, and of course I cant, just the option of first aid. I really can't figure it out I haven't changed my controls, I've reinstalled and launch Arma 2 and Arma 2 AO separately and no use. Can anyone help me it's really bugging me.

All help is appreciated and welcome. I again aploogise if this is in the wrong place :)

edit: I can also not commands my troops to heal other injured soldiers?

I don't know if you still need an answer, it seems the first aid function is broken by default in Arma2 and Arma2: OA. Similarly to you, I also am able to provide first aid only, dragging or lifting injured soldiers is not available in the menu. It could be an issue with the Steam version, not sure though.

As for commanding your team members: make sure you "see" the wounded soldier, then press Space, point to another soldier, select e.g. "Select unit 5 only" and point the cursor to the injured soldier. Press middle mouse button and the first aid option will be available.
