Hello,
I am making a police uniform for the community that I have been in for a while. I am having issues importing my texture into my editor to view it on the model. I have put my texture into the jpg format and put it into one of my mission files. After this I went into my editor and placed down a rangemaster.

For the 'init' I put "this setobjecttexture [0, "rangemaster.jpg"];"

When I preview it this uniform turns out white. Does anyone have any information on why this happens? And how I can fix it?

Its better to actually re-texture the item: https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/151777-tutorialsimple-re-texturing-guide-from-start-to-finish/

But if you don't want to do that, make sure your image size is squared (ex. 512x512).
