hey there,

first of all, I'm completely new to ARMA 3 and Editor and everything.
I made some kind of Mission in EDEN Editor with my brother together and now we have a problem.

We have our mission start on a small island on Stratis, north of Kamino firing range.
Now we want to have a spawn point at kamino, when we killed every enemy there, and kind of "captured" the place.
I read tons of posts and threads about this problem, and there were severyl solutions, but since I'm new to ARMA and scripting I didn't really know what to do with the solutions.
So, what I know:
there are triggers, wich can be used to do something when the player is in range.
there are markers, to use its locations
and there are respawn points, wich are use for respawns obviously.

How can I say that when I have a trigger on Kamino, and walk in to this trigger with my character, that then, after I die I can respawn from Kamino too, not just from my small island where I started.

I'm sorry for my request, since I know there are solutions out there, wich I don't know how to use.

I hope someone can help me :)

Sincerley,
S1X3R

PS: Sorry for my english

It's simple.
Place your respawn point on the island. It's a module / multiplayer / respawn position.
Name it (variable name at top), say: respawn_myGroup or any respawn_anything
Choose all parameter you want but in regard of your players.

place a trigger on Kamino, with the area and the condition you want: OPFOR not present sounds good.
place another marker and name it, say kamino (without quotes here);
in on activation field of the trigger write:
respawn_myGroup setPos (markerPos "kamino");
(you need quotes here for the marker)
