No, u are wrong.

It's funny to make fun of people who doesn't want to listen the advices other people give them and then come to ask for help.

Next time if u want i can stop working, drive back 30 kms to go home and turn on my PC to help u.

Anyways, here is the content of the addons and Dta folders on my ArmA installation:

3-addons_folder.png 3-dta_folder.png

PS: The Dta folder has a file called SIX_Tracers.hpp which i added, u don't need that one.

i have a good answer to you.

why not open the addons folder and then list all the stuff in there under views=> details.
then you right click and arrange icons by=> modified then you have the arma files all on the same date unlike the others.
then you know what to delete and what not.

if you didnt understood let me know i will add pictures.

sfc.

p.s
yes i am back finaly

I write only what I know, or think I know if I don't have anything to add I stay quiet, listen and learn!

Welcome back.
Note that when you updated to arma version 1.14 etc There will be a select few pbo files that will have a different modified date. If you go to View>Details and then View>choose details and select the following attributes. Here are some ways you can sort them even better. I have sorted mine by date accessed here.

Seeming as I have to repeat my answer on this time after time I'm gonna write how to uninstall arma. I will make this for all those people who put addons in their addons folder.

When you patch arma and install arma you should make sure that there are no 3rd party addons in your addons folder. You should always use modfolders.

How to perform a clean install.

1. Make a backup of your mods and addons that you want to keep and store them in a safe place like My Documents or something.

2. Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs from there you can choose to uninstall ArmA.
You can also uninstall AmrA by locating the install wizard at Start>Allprograms>BohemiaInteractive>Arma>Uninstall or Start>All programs>Atari>Arma>Uninstall. Uninstall the game.

3. Go to your ArmA directory and manually delete the ArmA folder. This will clear all subfolders inside like Addons and Dta which may have remains of 3rd party addons from your old installation. It is important that they are deleted so your new installation will not be corrupted and you will not encounter any errors.

You need to delete the folder where you installed the game, these are the most common folders where the game is installed and would have to be deleted:
C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA
C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA
Delete the folder named "ArmA".
4. Insert your DVD or execute your Arma installation file to reinstall.

5. Use mod folders this time. :|

Jay85 : i need somebody who dosent use unofficial mods to list me everything that originally came with arma

I made two addon folders... one is Regular Addons, and one is Modded Addons. I Switch them back and forth to use... so that way i never have a disability.

Hey Big, I don't know how to break this to you but all your menus are in Spanish!!! :D I don't think I can help you fix that. ;)

I know where the OP is coming from. I use mod folders religiously but when I went to see what was in the all the folders to get my friend all synced up to me with mods, I had to scratch my head a little.

If your game is on steam then just do a verify integrity of cache steam will replace any file missing.
