Hi,

So I've a convoy that comes and pick you up and then they head to a destination.
During this time the front car/vehicle will hit a mine(s) and explode.

I am very new when it comes to triggers etc I've figured out some but, what i would wanna do is
as soon as the vehicle hits the mine, the enemy should become present on the map and start attacking, while my guys exit their vehicle and defend themselves, altho when the area is cleared of enemies they'll proceed to their original destination.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, Well this wouldn't be the most professional way but you could give the enemies a way point and have them start somewhat far back, keep testing it to where they are at the waypoint right when it expldes? I'm sorry bnut I can't think much anything right now so hopefully this is some help to you!

1st, you should read mr.murrays editing guide, found here: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4847

next you should download a IED script, found here: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=504

put 2 enemy squads on a hold waypoint just out of sight from convoy, put 'never fire, stealth,' in the waypoint line.
put a trigger just where the 'goodies' hit the mine or IED set to 'if blufor are present then switch' sync this trigger with the hold waypoints. next from the hold waypoints put 'seek and detroy' near the road where blufors convoy is. set the behavior to 'fire at will and combat'.

next u will have play around with the convoys waypoints.
