I bought and Downloaded the German Version, Patched to 1.01, installed the english files. I have enabled Track IR but I get no head movement, also updated from Natual point. Looked to make sure it was in the controls and see that Head Movement (Analog) has all the TrackIr set up. When I right click the mouse button, instead of the weapon sights coming up, I get a flash and no aim. Any clues? Do I need re-install, maybe re-down load possible corrupt files during install? Thanks in advance.

Arma 2 is like DCS Shark in that track ir is using a new encrypted API, so if your track ir is an older model or if you are using freetrack you will not have head tracking.

I believe only version 4 and 5 track ir devices are capable of reading the encrypted data. (Though not positive on this)

The problem I was having was only with the sp campaign. Everything works fine in the SP missions. The problem is related to the campaign specificly. Thanks.

On the BI forums is a very long topic about TrackIR, have a look through it if it gives you some more info also:

[edit]
Go to the Options screen, select controls.
At the bottom there is a button that says external controllers, enable your trackIR there.

By the way, its worth noting that Natural Point's website (LINKY HERE) says that "TrackIR 3 with Vector support will be added in version 5.1".
As I write this v5.1 isn't released yet. I have still ordered the v5 and will probably eBay the v3.

Killg0re had some troubles with performance in game while using TrackIR 4 with software for version 5. Do you note any such thing?
I have trackIR4 as well and am curious if performance with ArmA2 with TrackIR enabled is really an issue more people suffer from.
