OK.

I love it. :love

Tonight was the most I have ever played ArmA II and mostly this is because of ACE2. The game itself now feels more complete and brings back that old feeling from ArmA1. I finally think I can put ArmA1 to rest now and move on to ArmA2.

So tired now from playing all night. :) Must get sleep.

Explained in the wiki:
http://dev-heaven.net/wiki/ace-mod2/Googles&Mask_Setup

There you find all info how to use the features in the ACE 2 mod.

If you made the initial install with Yoma's addon sync, then it's probably best to keep up-to-date with rSync.

Here's what I did.

1. Uninstall, Download and install the latest SIX-updater
1a. If rsync already installed then you can run option 2 in rSync and update to latest version then close rSync and go here to download the file and place in C:\Program Files\Six-Updater

2. Delete six-updater.pid in C:\Program Files\Six-Updater

3. Follow this video tutorial. Files should update, if some error occurs after check, and recognising you already have ACE installed then proceed to 3a.
3a. Run option 2 from updater. Updates should start. (if you're lucky and followed steps correctly)

Dead3yez : They all work. It's irritating that you say things don't work because of your own fault.

Did you add @CBA to your shortcut -mod=@ACE;@ACEX;@CBA. And really, you know that running other addons can cause problems, and I know for a fact that you have 1000s of them in your addons folder.

To get goggles and masks working.
http://dev-heaven.net/wiki/ace-mod2/Googles&Mask_Setup
Well not many work for me. And I did it the exact way you told me too!
I have that exact line in my shortcut.
I didn't do anything wrong...So it is NOT my fault.

But really, what addons could causes so many problems?
I dont have any big mods, just a bunch of small addons like units, weapons, vehicles and such.

Can you post some pictures of what the editor should look like if I got ACE running properly. I have a few things under Empty labeled ACE, but It would help more if someone who has it working posted some pictures.

Anyways, I'll test more and if its really not working, I do that method you just posted.

Hello,

Whenever I try to run arma with ACE, I get this message:

Include file x/cba/addons/main/script_macros_common.hpp not found

Any idea what may be the problem?
Thank You.

(btw tried putting all the .hpps in the userconfig folder and I still get this error)

have you moved your userconfig folder from \ArmA2\@ACE into \ArmA2\?
you need to create a new folder inside the moved userconig called ACE, and drop all the .hpp files in there

final path for those hpp files should be:
\ArmA2\userconfig\ACE\

IE:
F:\ArmA 2\userconfig\ACE\ace_clientside_config.hpp
F:\ArmA 2\userconfig\ACE\ace_keys.hpp
F:\ArmA 2\userconfig\ACE\ACE_serverconfig.hpp
F:\ArmA 2\userconfig\ACE\ACE_Tracking.hpp

Yes. I've done that.
I can show you.
When I try to use the Sixupdater, it either does nothing when I try to update it or it gives me those Errors I posted on the page before this. So I really dont know what to do. I have everything right and I bought a few small addons would cause such MAJOR problems.

It'd be easier if you would go on Steam Dead3yez.

I did that but it still gives me the same message.
