The mission was fun up until the A-10 crash. After the crash, however, ten or so enemy militia immediately appear out of thin air...and only 300 meters away from the player. Then more militia "magically" appeared from the opposite direction.

Great mission. Not much to improve on this, maybe a few lines of radio messages to add some atmosphere. Or maybe you could let the player wait until dusk. Or the LZ is overrun by enemy forces before you arrive, then an alternative LZ has to be reached. Also instead of a small MH6 one could imagine a proper CSAR force. Just some thoughts, the mission is already cool the way it is.

@zonker3210: Haha, I guess most downed pilots say "it was fun until the crash"^^

For some reason this was THE BEST mission I've played in this game. With some role-playing and imagination this really is AMAZING.

Spoiler:

I role-played a lot after the crash and stayed a whie in the house trying to keep myself alive then I threw a smoke grenade and run out where the first guys came cause there was a car parked there, i got in and punched it away as the bad guys were shooting at the car. Also nice touch when the helo comes and suddenly more bad guys show up and the LZ gets hot. Nice job again.

Hello. So far i have enjoyed this mission, but have been unable to complete it because even after i kill all the tanks in the area nothing happens. Is there something i am not doing?? thanks

Actually, sorry, i just realised i had to COMPLETELY destroy the tanks, not just the crew. but i do have another problem, when i try to go to the rtb bit, i die...
