VeteranMod team presents to your attention public demo-version of our global modification for ArmA 2.
This version is designed primarily to demonstrate new and reviewed features of the game, as well as the general direction of our work.
Features:
• system for equiping units, which includes body armor, universal transport vests, helmets, hats and much more
• extended injuries system and first aid
• island Beketov, an area of 400 km²
• Some SP-missions.
• infantry units for the BLUE4 and RED4 - U.S. Marine Corps and Russian Army Mechanized Infantry (RF MI), appropriate firearms both sides
• RF MI Reconnaissance units
• Irregular units, militias
• varied firearms
• reworked sounds for small arms
• the opportunity to interact with other players in MP
• interact inside cargo aircraft
• advanced simulation of fragments for hand grenades, RPGs and HE rounds
• backblast simulation for RPGs, MANPADS and handheld ATGMs
• resting of weapons with bipods
• enhanced sights
• modified FOV and as a consequence modified maginification
• a new types of weapon crates
• new animations
• reworked visual FX
Installation:
It is highly
not recommended to use the beta-version of ArmA 2 with VeteranMod!
Also advice on using CBA -mod=@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@VTN;@Beketov; use this sequence.

Any plans on porting the map to A3? It's beautiful.
love this mod, but for some reason when i play it in Arma2 OA it crashes everytime i load something up in Editor. It work's fine in Arma2 OA Beta though, the opposite of what it says :P I do not have any new additional maps and when i press Q i get this weird menu that doesn't seem to do anything? Also some of the classnames , like the CH-53 and AC-130 are just standard arma2 vanilla aircraft? Any ideas ? :S

That's a very nice mod, this sort of mod that apply the equipment assignation to ArmA II.
The idea is very good, hope a fully ACE compatible version, and a finished version, not like many others mods that never finished under ArmA II.
Thanks, a really good mod to test, even if it's a demo and have some bugs, just to have an idea.
Any chance for ASDG JR compatible?
