Mil Mi-6A "Hook"

Description:
This is an addon of Mil Mi-6A "Hook" - single-rotor turboshaft powered dual-engine heavy transport helicopter from late 50s for the computer game ArmA 2. This mod is being released as a BETA for community testing and development. The project has been made through convertion of model of Mi-6A made for FS2004 by Vladimir Zchigulinskyi. I made it because I thought that there is a gap among addons to fill (apart of Mi-26 by mukcep which was an addon made for Arma).


Features:
- cargo and sling ops version only
- crew of five including pilot, copilot, navigator, RTO, mechanic
- 11 liveries of Air Forces including: Russian (2), Ukraine (2), Poland, North Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Takistan, CDF, ChDKZ
- 1 civilian livery (Aeroflot)
- working flight instruments in cockpit and backlighting during night time
- rain effects on windshield
- cargo operation allowing to lash/release as much vehicles as can fit into cargo compartment
- custom sound
- deployable landing lights
- animation of cargo doors, ramp, landing lights, fuselage shaking during flight
- walkable/driveable deck
- wreck model
- red lights at the rotor blades' tips
- cargo vehicles can get damage if you spot enemy fire


Installation:
As we always recommend use modfolders to seperate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems. For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ.

Known issues:
- when player got out while heli's engines are on, fuselage shaking effect were still attached to the player until heli's engines were switched off.
- sometimes actions for lash/release cargo may not be visible for player in second vehicle (temp. solution: being on the vehicle driver seat look at a side for a while to see the actions or use trigger method described at the end of this document)
- sometimes player might get stuck between vehicle and heli fuselage (temp. solution: use V key /jump action/ several times to get out from that trap or position the vehicles slightly off the center line of the heli)
- no destroyable windows (but still you can shot through them to kill crew)
- strange shadowing on heli fuselage (probably shadow LOD needs to be adjusted)
- ADIs and copilot indicators do not work yet
- sometimes altitude above ground level is shown incorrectly (walkable deck usually cause this issue)
- refueling of heli with vehicles inside a cargo might be a problem (fuel truck firstly choose to refuel vehicles in cargo instead of the heli)
- no materials on model, only diffuse maps
- static wreck (included) does not show itself in game
- vehicle which could have little fuel prior attaching OP will be refueled after releasing OP
- a bunch of ST coordinates errors (which is not a problem as long as nohq maps are not used in the model)


To do:
- to make passanger versions based on the same model (hide cargo proxy, seats animation)
- to fix the bugs
- to improve sound
- to make heli's landing gear animation
- to make a static objects be attachable to heli, i.e. cargo palettes, ammo boxes, small containers etc.
- perhaps other things, we will see
