Arma 3 Co-op: Vietnam -Devil's edit-

Description:
So, today, I'd like to present to you an new version of the ArmA 3 Coop: Vietnam (@A3CV) modification. I got permission from Alduric to continue working on it and to release my work as I see fit. That being said, I want to not only improve it, but add to it as well. Overall, I want your experience with the Arma 3 Co-op Vietnam mod to be as authentic to the war as possible so I have begun getting help from other community members as Alduric had done before me.


Features:
2 NATO factions: The US and Australia
3 PACT factions: The NVA, and northern and southern segments of the Vietcong.
4 Land vehicles
3 Helicopters
15 weapons


Installation:
Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
64-Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam\Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\@your_mod_folder_name\addons\

You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name1\addons\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\

When present place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3".
You may already have "userconfig" folder from other addons and/or mods in which case it is safe to merge the contents from this archive.

You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:
-mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5

Note:
You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.


And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!

Usage:

Known issues:
- MCC incompatibility: will cause all Blufor units to kill each other when spawned by the MCC console (I know how to fix it, just give a little bit of time)FIXED in 1.18r
>A work around would be to use the Zeus function in MCC, however you cannot just simply use Zeus
- MCC incompatibility: Blufor units show up as EAST (related to the previous MCC incompatibilty)FIXED in 1.18r
- The M113 does not like to drive on the maps (this is a map issue, not an M113 issue)
- The UH1H still shows the M240 model (however the weapon characteristics are that of the M60)
- The CH47's ramp does not animate, nor does the landing gear
- There are no wreck models
- Both helo's still use the little-bird sounds
- US uniforms all have the airborne patch instead of their relative unit patchesFIXED in 1.18r
- There are no spawnable groups yet
- All PACT factions are under "Vietcong"FIXED in 1.18r
- FN-FAL sounds missing FIXED in 1.18r
- Reload sounds missiong
- No Keys or signed files (well, the maps have gone untouched, but that's it)


Future plans:
More land vehicles, including tanks
More helicopters
More factions
Planes, including but not limited to: F-4, F-86, Mig-21, Mig-17
Support weapons, such as mortars and artillery
Please note that a lot of this can't be done without some outside help, if you would like to do some modeling, texturing, configing, etc. it would be much appreciated

- Massive classname organization: see the documentation provided.
- reduced dispersion on pistiols and smgs so bullets no longer fly at 45 degree angles to the direction of the gun
- Added ammo boxes for both sides (vietnam box still a wip, but it's getting there) under Ammo
- You can now spawn empty Vietnamese vehicles
- Trained soldiers to not use backpacks with random launchers attached.
- Found missing FN-FAL sounds...(my bad)
- US and ANZAC now trained to fight the communists instead of each other when using MCC
- Correct patches now distributed to the US troops (don't ask me how this happened as I'm not really sure)
- Added Armor crewman to the US and NVA (WIP)
- Added leadership units to the NVA
- Renamed a bunch of units
- The USSR has now distributed RPK's to the NVA and Vietcong
- Smaller fixes not worth mentioning

- Added OH-6 Cayuse as a light transport/observation helicopter
- Replaced all weapon sounds (special thanks to LJ)
- Trained medics to apply medical aid (and gave them the tools to do so)
- Changed up the weapons so they all feel unique. This includes:
-- increased cone of fire
-- new ammunition types
-- realistic rates of fire
-- realistic ammunition velocities
-- new ammo penetrations
- Began fixing flight characteristics of UH1H
- Began fixing flight characteristics of CH47
- Edited M113's driving characteristics to be more realistic
