Once again I'm sorry for my mistake, as usually I forgot to include one line into the description, could you please add the line "If you're interested in this mod, you might also like to check out my another work dedicated to the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria Armed Forces: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=30014 " into the "Notes" section.
Done
Thank you very much!
One quick question: what is this map ?
Thx !
The map is Helvantis: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=27617 , more precisely the ruined city area called 'Lower Grammendorf ruins'
That was a quick answer ! :)
Your units are blending perfectly with the map.
Excellent work !!
will you have any scenarios available soon? The invasion of Grozny would be awesome experience
I'm not sure about the scenarios for now, Helvantis 'Lower Grammendorf ruins' location looks cool, but it's not really historic to make missions about Grozny there there, maybe there are maps of Grozny somewhere or something like that + I hope community might help with creation of interesting missions. Though I guess I'll make something like demo mission and include it in the later versions of the addon.
By the way, there's one problem with the weapons here, some units in the mod have the RShG (adopted in RF only in 2000) from the RHS:AFRF addon, instead of the reactive flamethrower RPO "Shmel" that they're supposed to have, because there's no "Shmel" in RHS addon for now :(
I found a small bug when I use your Mod without the HLC Weapons and only the RHS Weapons pbo. I spwan some groups in the editor and the Automaticrifleman have no weapon. It is by GRU, internal troups, MSV and Naval units all the same.
Its not a gamebreaking bug but maybe you can delete these units in the without hlc pbo in next update.
And I believe I see the groups of mechanized units with BMP have more than 7 members and in a BMP it is only for max 7 charecters possible to go in. If I'm wrong somebody can correct me.
But this is a great mod, I like it, thank you for this!
i found an operation arrowhead map of grozny, "Dead city" i believe is what its called.
AHTNTEPPOP, thank you very much for reporting the problem, and if you'll find anything else in future, could you please also PM me so I notice the report sooner.
The AR units are armed with RPK LMGs which are not present in the RHS addon for now, but I replaced their guns with the RHS PKM's so they'd be just an additional machinegunners until RHS make RPK or something like that, but there was a mistake in the file, which is now fixed (I've already submitted the fixed version to the armaholic, so now waiting for the update to be verified and published), removing the units would require further branching of the .pbo's which would cause chaos.
As for the BMPs, indeed BMP-2 can carry only 7 passengers, but BMP-1 groups are also present in the addon and BMP-1 were able to carry 8 passengers, so BMP-2 group containts 8 units (if you count BMP with its crew as a single unit): 7 dismounts and a BMP-2 vehicle, while BMP-1 group consists of 9 units: 8 dismounts and a BMP-1 vehicle
Kamel-man, I remember seeing it about a year ago, but I haven't seen any ports to Arma 3 for now :(
Though I'm already making a demo-mission on Helvantis.
AHTNTEPPOP, the download is already updated
Good Job! Also why you release separated Russians and Chechens? Have you any plans to make larger packs with OPFOR units, just like these? For example from War in Donbass - Novorussia vs Ukraine?
